So obviously we're about to get hit with a whole bunch of new restrictions.

Gym next door to my work has pulled their equipment into the car park and people are doing their normal training

I will be one of the lucky ones with work still but 4 weeks of lockdowns will cripple SA.
As yet there has been no deaths from this outbreak and we just need to protect the elderly and vulnerable and get on with a few restrictions

Yeah lets do it...…if they bring back jobkeepers and make it earnings based so I get what I would normally be paid whilst a casual doing one shift a week doesn't bag $1.3k a fortnight.

2 should suffice.

Moving forward, perhaps house security staff, cleaners etc. at the places where they are quarantining.

I know a lad that does security there and it seems pretty laid back, hence why we are in this predicament.

Just drove past Victoria Park testing and it was reasonably quiet, probably only 20% of what the past two days have been

If you or anyone you know needs testing I’d be going there

That will make shagging those in quarantine a little easier at least - ;)

Suggested on the radio the person who started this in the community may have picked it up from touching an infected doorknob

Job keepers can take a flying leap, I'm casual and will get zero dollars just like the last time. Happy to have some more time off with no pay though. 8)

Personally I would like to have seen it become more earnings based with a reduction in the required employment period.

At our work place the Government would have been financially better off with such a system. I was the only person in our workplace who 'lost' money. Some of our casuals went from earning $100 a fortnight to $1.3k overnight.
