Yet, more and more arrivals continue to land in SA each day, thousands upon thousands.. and suddenly we get another few positive results today and Henny Penny the world is ending again.

If SA Health was dead serious about this stupid virus surely they’d take more measures to mitigate the risk coming into the state instead of making everyone run around like idiots inside the state then blame them when a case does pop up.

Spurrier should resign she’s an embarrassment

The Fed Govt should have had a centralised quarantine set up for international arrivals the whole time.

Or enforced 2 week quarantine prior to travel and then once they arrive.

Can't believe a medi-hotel, the place designed to keep us safe, is going to be our downfall after what Victoria went through.

I've got a feeling this 17 is going to very quickly spread to many, many more.

From what i've heard (from a very reliable source), SA Health have only disclosed the tip of the potential iceberg today.

Multiple potential locations of spread, healthcare, childcare and aged care.

Have heard the same, also hearing at least 90 have been put in quarantine today from the Lyall Mac
Yes, 90 staff and patients at the Lyall Mac who were deemed to be close contacts

A woman from work has had to go into quarantine as she spent time with her nephew over the weekend who was placed into quarantine via his work, how many more instances of this would be out there?

My niece works at the quarantine hotel and I caught up with her on Sat. She’s since discovered a colleague tested positive so she’s in isolation and I’m back to working from home til she gets her results. Mild inconvenience but not the end of the world. Agree with you that number is likely to grow and quickly.

Meant to be heading up to the Sunshine Coast on Saturday for a week's holiday, could be in real jeopardy given recent events. Fingers crossed Annastacia Palaszczuk keeps her finger off the border closure trigger. [-o<

We just got home from there yesterday so looks like we timed it right. Our cases don’t meet her technical triggers but that doesn’t mean she won’t act and change things. If we don’t get on top of this in the next few days I can absolutely see her slamming it shut
