Surely will be in the squad at least, Burns only making 10 today helps Pukovski's chances.

like to see him bat on a pitch with a tad sideways movement but you can only bat on what is dished up to you

Think Bumrah may be a tad more of a challenge than what he faced so far this season

First test being D/N helps him too.
Burns should be nowhere near the side

Good to see Renshaw in the runs.

Pucovski is probably next cab off the rank though. I think Burns will play the first test but he'd want to make runs.

Kurt Patterson is another who I'm keeping my eye on but after the start to the season he's had I think his test average will remain at 144 for a while.

Would've preferred Redback runs.

I don't think they'll have any qualms in discarding Joey again, he's more of a spare parts opener, he'll sit on the shelf and be used when needed.

Will Pucovski becomes Victoria’s second batsman to post back-to-back double centuries. The first? Bill Ponsford back in 1927-28.
