However, Richmond showed in that last quarter when it’s tough in the trenches they dig in and find a way.

Pretty good prelim

Was shit both ways I thought

I thought the important ones went against Port and the weird ones went against Richmond.. it’s a shame that the umpires seem to be able to have an influence or presence in these games

Umpiring was fine, Richmond were the better side and deserved to win. Love Ebert effort and hope he is ok but looks like he may have retired.

Yep they find a way yet again, have a pretty good habit of doing that. The Richmond system stands strong, Dimma keeps getting the job done.

Marshall started well then faded
Ladhams kicked an important goal but did **** all but give away free kicks
Motlop where was he?!
Dixon colours lowered by Barta
Rockliff looked like a scared boy amongst men.

Martin is a class above
Lynch is a flog
Critical goals in the last to Lambert the difference
McIntosh I thought good
Richmond back 6 sensational

Umpiring? Yuck

With all due respect, if the free kick is there, it’s there..

Joel Selwood renowned for ducking his head
Luke Shuey for raising his arm in tackles

Both praised for their game.

Rozee might’ve exaggerated but not paying the free kick on that premise is strange

Not good enough against a premiership contender.

There's a gap between the top 4 and the rest.

There's a gap between the top 2 and us.

We'll be back. I love this club. #weareportadelaide

I thought Port had a few like Rozee (who did play well) who were looking to make free kicks.

Richmond on the other hand seemed to thrive on winning the hard ball or knocking it on.

It was only a few Port boys but in a tight prelim that is the difference

Toby represented Tassie at the Imparja Cup for a number of years, played U17’s for tassie and made honour sides for Aussie Indigenous side.. got signed to Sydney and suddenly renounced his “aboriginality” - doesn’t recognise/identify anymore in the AFL.. and has the audacity to blame “family pressure”

He’s dumb as dog shit

Richmond’s experience the difference .. You’d think that’s coming for Port. How good are prelims??? Rarely disappoint

Bad luck mate, they tried their guts out but things just went the wrong way. You were very unlucky Brisbane won their QF and I think you knew then you were in trouble.
Dry conditiions might have changed the result too.
Thoughts with ya, hope you have a good day on the punt tomorrow and hve a good day drowing a few sorrows.

Kind of lucky my team that played in a Prelim tonight lost the game in 6 mins, no heartbreak and gave me a chance to watch the footy! Nothing worse than losing a close Prelim.

I know it was slippery but I've never seen so much flopping from both sides.
Good to see none of them got paid.
Have to really earn them in a final.
