I reckon both sets of selectors have plenty to think about.

Bring back players from injury, who misses out, team balance. Do you play 18 or 19. Last one.

Both sides coming off a loss. Eagles have beaten North both games this year.

Eagles should start as favorites.

Big pressure on the eagles to win this one as I would not want to potentially come up against South who we've struggled against this year.

That said, we should get over the top of North. We've looked very comfortable against them each time we've played them so would be disappointed if they can' t continue onwards

Eagles must go into this game as hot favourites - top side, and had North's measure in both games this season.

Yes, I've heard the same thing. I wonder if his crystal ball, tarot cards, or tea leaves includes the Adelaide Oval finals expansion pack?

Cameron Craig out for the season for North, happened in the last two minutes of the South game.
Chris Hall out for the season for the Eagles too.

I’m hoping the Eagles win but it could be a close game .

I think that North should play the first 10 mins of the 4th quarter with only 17 men on the field: just to even up a certain past indiscretion.

Whilst closer to 5 mins I agree as long as we get 10k back and start next season with 4 points more than everyone else. :D

This is another reason why the Eagles should be raging favourites for this game - they're still cheesed off over the 2018 prelim, and feel they have something to atone for.

Closer to about three and half minutes of the last, IIRC.

But, whatever gets you through the night. ;)

Do North get a 7 goal head start then?

Ahem, that'll be an eight goal start. ;)

"Chris Hall out for the season for the Eagles too."

Has this been confirmed? I haven't seen anything in the injury lists about this.

Question for Rooster fans - who should take Cameron Craig's spot at full back? I'd say that it's probably going to be between Dyson Hilder or Karl Finlay, unless there is someone in the reserves who is up to the task.

Whilst I hope he recovers speedily I am not too unhappy about him missing the final series as he doesn't have a great record in tough hard matches during past final series. Put simply - he doesn't put his body on the line. He is also part of a rapidly shrinking group of players at the club who've been part of unsuccessful finals campaigns over the past 7-8 years and have clearly got mental demons about playing on the big stage and susceptible to choking.

I am completely at ease going into the finals series with our group of new or young and inexperienced kids who will not be as burdened with expectations.

Sheedy on 5AA said Jack Hayes, Goldsworthy, Mansell and Jones all good to go this Sunday. Lonergan 50/50.

Would guess those four in for Hall, Westbrook, West and Jungfer.
