My Friday Forecast -

* Cam Guthrie to act like a tosser at some point
* BC and MT to provide in depth analysis of the umpiring
* Dogs have not beaten a team in the top 8 and this will continue
* Cats by 33 points
* Attendance 2,648

You can always tell early when Geelong aren't switched on.

Looks like 10 goals plus at this stage.
Luckily I like the Dogs and we have percentage to spare.

Imagine Josh Bruce was even half an AFL player, they’d be as good as any side going

Don't know really. I first started watching VFL as a kid in the Essendon and Hawthorn glory days but never followed any team until I took a shine to Melbourne in 87, the Cats might of been poo at that time.

Nah they weren't, I started following them in the mid 80s. They were always competitive, it was always something I looked for when choosing a team to support in any comp as well as a few other factors like not being a sheep and just following a successful team or someone that most people in my area followed.

Someone at the Royal cheering loudly for the Bulldogs tonight, slinging lots of shit at my missus.
His mates looked embarrassed.

Me : " Mate, who do you go for?"
Dickheads: "Crows maaaaaaate "
Me with a smile and a wink: "Say no more"

I seriously can't understand why anyone would follow that franchise. Might as well as tattoo a "L" on your forehead.

Lived on the Peninsula my whole life, been going to Alberton since I could walk, uncle played league footy for Port, I played 17s & 19s for Port, local Amateur club has strong ties to Port. Pretty easy decision.
