Spoon day 2020

Despite the minor round not finishing until the end of September, Spoon Day will remain in August, the SANFL has announced.....

Sorry Doggies fans like us 2012-2017, the boys work hard, they mean well but the ability to stick to a game plan and execute skills is all too familiar to this Bays fan. Westies by 2 goals
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Nason in, experience is handy,
McLean in, good goal kicker with height,
Fort in, more height,
I'm happy with this.

Ben is one of the great blokes of sanfl. Happy for him, wether you think he's up to it or not, great to see him get a game and try to play at his highest level instead of chasing easy country/ammo dollars.

And is a ripping bloke to boot.

If Andrews wants to build character, dedication, resilience and passion In the Central Districts footy club senior group, Ben Nason is as good example as any. Others are more talented, none are more dedicated.

What’s does MJ say, give me four blokes with good fundamentals and character and I’ll take my chances every time.

Yep the comp would be in a much better position if there was more Ben Nasons running around.

West to win, but not by much. They looked alright against the Roosters last Friday night and deserved to jag the win, and i reckon that'll give them a bunch of confidence.

Well done to the boys.. (some of us) knew you could do it! ;)
... and, yes, our 'great bloke' can also play football and did his job. For a guy who has been through a lot, well done, Ben. Great to see another 'great bloke' who came out of retirement for us also do a good job, Butch.

Also wonderful to see three more 'great blokes' finally get rewarded with a win after huge efforts this year. Well done, Boydy. Hosko and Goody.

I would rather have a team of 'great blokes' who give their all than a team of FIGJAMs who only care about themselves any day.

Also great to see Fraser and Connor back in the side and being servicable - two more 'great blokes'.
I was also very impressed by Jonno Marsh today. He has responded really well to his being dropped to the Ressies, and come back a much better player.

Cheers

Well deserved.

The guys have been busting a gut all year and deserved a win. Hope they enjoy a few social distanced beers together.

Hopefully the confidence grows and even if we lose a few more the scoreline is a bit closer.
