Round 8 - Run to the Hills

Postby Rik E Boy » Thu Jul 23, 2020 4:59 pm

No Simpkin, No Fyfe, No Shiel, No Rosey but who cares about that. The toughest season of all time just got a little tougher and with the Frenzy coming up int the next month this is the last game where you might be able plan in the traditional manner before eve of the finals. Four more trades to burn with the FRENZY on the horizon!

Round 8 is here...Run to the hills...run for your life...boyos.

Nek minuet Simpkin in! Too bad I traded him. Thank god for extra trades! North don't mind burning their injured blokes do they?

Jelwood to N Haynes via DPP for me I think.

Had the VC on Macrae last night, happy with that start.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Yep, went that way with Strut. It was on the cards wasn't it. Not sure on the Jelwood call though. Even though he came back fit as the way he puts his body on the line at this stage of his career does not suggest durability moving forward.

Bought in English, whilst disappointing last night, the plan is still intact. Hold him for 2 weeks to capitalize on the 200 before upgrading to Gawn. Hopefully Gawn has one stinker.
Think Parker will be my other in. Im prepared for Simpkin to miss, surely they learnt their lesson on Cunnington but will put him on the bench.

Ahhhh, somehow I didn’t look at my team today and left the C on Coniglio!!!!
If REBCATS don’t beat me they’re doing something wrong.

If you mean the Sydney midfielder Parker don't trust him. Carrying the whole midfield now with JPK out.

Yep i brought him in.
Who else will get their points? Mills and Lyoyd, thats it.
He wont get tagged, teams dont bother tagging shit teams
I think he goes big while JPK is out. His average is affected by a 45
He rarely misses games
