The head of the peak body representing Australian doctors says any person who attended Black Lives Matter rallies over the weekend should self-quarantine for two weeks.
“If everyone was wanting to keep the rest of the community safe, anyone who attended those rallies really should stay home and keep away from the rest of the community for at least two weeks.

The head of the peak body representing Australian doctors says any person who attended Black Lives Matter rallies over the weekend should self-quarantine for two weeks.
“No matter how much hand sanitiser, no matter much the masks were being worn, for those periods of time there is a risk of the virus passing," Dr Tony Bartone, President of the Australian Medical Association, told 3AW this morning.
“If everyone was wanting to keep the rest of the community safe, anyone who attended those rallies really should stay home and keep away from the rest of the community for at least two weeks.
“More importantly, if they develop any symptoms they need to get tested immediately.”
Dr Bartone said people should also keep in mind they may have the virus but be asymptomatic.

If that gets the go ahead it’s hard to see why anyone else should follow SAPOL directives and it either becomes a free for all or restrictions get lifted. As it is anyone who copped fines on the weekend should be seeking legal advice IMO

A precedent has been set. I insist that the next BLM protest be held on the hill of Adelaide Oval during a SANFL game. Solidarity, brothers!

Of course not, they factored in the health aspect ( which at this point appears to be very low given our numbers ) and the chance of stopping the protest ( other than using force ) which isn't us, If the first posed a major risk then they'd have had to use the second.
I had no real problems with the protest going ahead, but maintaining any restrictions from here on in seems impossible.
As for footy crowds, let ammo's and SANFL have crowds, they get less than the protest and can distance far more easily, I'm not sure we're at letting AO get filled just yet though.
