SGFL to their credit changed their decision makes Riverland leadership along with many others mind you look as though they took the easy option. With 12 other leagues going ahead this clearly proves it can be done with right attitude and people on board. Its just sad for those clubs who were willing to put in the effort to return to play. I think one of the two riverland senior leagues at least should have made the effort to play so locals had something to do but it is what it is.

Great decision the seniors aren't playing.

Sounds like it was due to low numbers of players and volunteers hopefully the rest of the clubs can battle on after a year off with comp now down to 7 teams.

Any chance of them returning? East Murray have never been able to get back out on the park. BSR were able to get back after a year off.

As far as any premiership predictions go im not too sure just yet but im thinking renmark and waikerie will be very strong in the premier comp with Wunkar and sedan cambrai to be among the top teams in independants. Looking forward to the return of community sport to the area in what should be a very interesting year.
