She probably thinks you're good now.

Yeah, I strolled off like that's how I roll all the time.

She probably thought “94, not bad but still finished before you’re meant to”

Met some cracking guys, and have enjoyed playing 4 days of competitive cricket, followed by more than a few cold beers at the end of play. Played on a couple of very good grounds, and one very poor one, the deck yesterday was awful, no other way to describe it. Copped a rough lbw decision, and a dubious one as well, also got bowled by part timer, and played a poor shot to get out yesterday. Overall disappointed with my personal contribution to the team, and our team only winning 1 of 4 games. The div 1 Vics took out the championship, beating the Sandgroppers on the WACA yesterday. Enjoyed the celebrations on the ground post game. Next year these championships come to Adelaide, like to think I will be in the mix for selection again.

At a guess you drank more beers than runs scored?

Its so bloody hard to organise in our busy lives but jeez its great for the mental health, us blokes need to prioritise more of this sort of stuff.

Absolutely! We played yesterday at Echunga- then went to the Hagen Arms for a Schnitzel (top shelf).
Then about 7 beers in I volunteered to fill in in indoor cricket which I havent played for about 5 years. Went OK too!
Paying for it now, Gees I'm sore.
