I enjoyed my day....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Back to more serious discussion about the GF,

Any one see a non recalled bounce from the umpires coach’s son Mitch Harris?? Yeah, me neither...

Thought his positioning wasn’t up to Crosby’s standard either.

Congratulations to the following Glenelg posters with Glenelg logos who posted on this thread

ARMCHAIR EXPERT
DIRKO
DUTCHY
MATTEEG
MIGHTYTIGER 79
MRJBEAM1981
PATOWALONGA PETE
SPARGO
STAMPY
WOODUBLIEVE12

I had thought that the 6 late wins in a row in 2018 was a good pointer to GL perhaps making finals in 2019
I had not expected a premiership though

Now in all sincerity, how many of you GL barrackers thought that the bays would win the 2019 Grand Final ?

I know Spargo was confident and that was probably 18months ago and Dutchy was keen at start of the year.
I'm not a glenelg fan at this point so i have no idea whats happened over last 5yrs.

I had a decent crack preseason when the odds first came out.
I know Dutchy backed them too.

Not even former captain Andrew Bradley was confident!! He booked an overseas holiday for him and his wife, thought they would play finals, outside chance for GF, but Premiers was not in the plan. Lucky he booked to leave on the Wednesday so he got to experience the Brewery day, but still missing few celebrations he had not thought he would be missing!

All we need now is to get the Sturt and Norwood ones to have alongside it as a big FU to our Magpie friends.
