2019 TREVOR BARKER AWARD TOP TEN
Seb Ross (170 votes) - In and under player foot skills have always let him down
Rowan Marshall (152 votes) - Will be a star. Improved alot without any assistance in the ruck. I thought he would be more a pinch hit in the ruck/forward but has showed he is up to being to number 1 man for the club.
Jack Steele (151 votes) - is our run with player and the top tackler in the league.
Jack Billings (140 votes) - had his most consistent season at a good level
Tim Membrey (136 votes) - Always competes hard up forward and good for a couple of goals a game.
Jade Gresham (131 votes) - One of our best players forward of centre
Callum Wilkie (115 votes) - has been outstanding down back all season
Luke Dunstan (111 votes) - another player who had a more consistent season but skills aren’t elite
Josh Bruce (108 votes) - Always makes a contest. Hasnt lived up to his breakout season 4 years ago. Injuries havent helped him
Shane Savage (101 votes) - his run off half back has always been good.
Ratten must look at that top 10 list & realise he has his work cut out. It's a pretty ordinary top 10, can see why they need some influx of players like Hill badly.

Haven’t got much from Carlisle either. The times I’ve seen the Saints this year have been very impressed with Wilkie.

Wilkie had an outstanding year. Picked up as a mature age rookie and played every game (I think) to be 7th in their B&F. Was hampered by injury as a junior which is why he wasn't picked up until he turned 22.

Marshall, Gresham and Billings are our elite/will be players. Wilkie has had an outstanding first season in the AFL.
Guys like Clark, Coffield, Battle i reckon will take another step up.
Hopefully Hannabery, Geary, Carlisle and the the young guys King and Bytel are over there injuries and can have big pre seasons.

He doesn't have much luck, wasn't his hammy in a jar beside his bed a couple of years back?
