Gees BL must have done some pretty F’d up stuff in the past to get so many haters.
I’ll give you lot a thumbs up for your honest opinions though, doesn’t seem like there’s too much of that around these days.

The only thing I miss from BL was Unknown Sources weekend posts. Absolutely brilliant.

Be rough to chop him after one year - let's be fair, he basically stepped into the role because no one else wanted it, club would've been proper screwed without him.

It will be interesting what happens next year though if Westies are allowed back in.

If West Croydon & Hectorville go up next season, replaced by Blackfriars & Trinity, and OSB go down replaced by St Pauls and Houghton - this'll be the weakest D6 in 10+ years.

Ingle Farm vs Elizabeth GF.

Ingle Farm aren't playing finals this year. How do you put them in the GF next year?

Simple.. First year coach, still missed finals by percentage only. Showed they were more than capable against most the sides above them.

Depth through the B grade is good, and their C grade is bolstered by mostly U16 kids.

Fitzroy have an ageing list and relied heavily on the older lads to get the job done this year, and they struggle for depth through the 2's and dont have 3rds.

Para Hills perhaps under rated slightly, but Farmers showed they can beat them and frankly PH really fell off the pace as the season wore on - losses to HEC, IF, FIT, ELIZ and a draw to Marion leading into their bye, they're luck they had two soft games to close out the season.

Like Fitzroy you look over some of the Para Hills names and they certainly aren't getting any younger - Matty Travis, Lynton Power, Minshaw etc.

As for the sides coming down, BOS and TOS I suspect may fall off the pace - struggle a little with depth and like Roys and PH their best players are in their twilight.

St Pauls if they come up word is if they win the flag half their side are retiring, and Houghton well love them but history shows the gap between 6 and 7 is as big as any, consolidation would be key before thinking any finals campaigns.

Everybody said the exact same thing regarding Marion and OSB. Gap between 6 and 7 is the length of south road.

How’s that 30 block coming along? Or are you holding out for a Steve Bradbury and hoping 6 teams get suspended? 8)

Congrats Roy’s - Bass, Lulu and all the players.. I for one under estimated you, but Lulu you said you’re well positioned this year and for any moves to D5, and you’ve come up trumps.

Enjoy.
