England 258

3 wickets to Cummins, Hazlewood and Lyon

Aust 1/30

Warner out for 3

That glint in his eye for a big 100 that Langer spoke about must have been a reflection

As a fellow Warner hater I couldn't disagree with you more.

Let’s **** Warner off. Time to move on to a younger bloke.

Let the flog be a T/20 mercenary.

We may as well chuck in two extra bowlers and let them open the batting.

Going through a tough patch and Broad has his number but despite that he is still the best opener in Australia and deserves a chance to get back to form

Who do you suggest he's replaced by? Harris is the obvious one, what other young blokes do you think are worth an opportunity?

You've gotta admire Broad, he was thrown on the scrap heap a few years ago and his confidence was shot, he has certainly bounced back in a big way.

Agree.

Due to how ridiculous brilliant Smith is I think we are underestimating how hard it would be to come back into test cricket after a year off.

Warner is one of the few world class batters we have so whilst he was a knob (his behaviour seems a bit better now) he has to be given the opportunity to get back to his best imo.

No one is beating down the door.

Boy how cricket has changed, I remember Boof and Haydos scoring millions of runs before being granted a baggy green.

Lyon now equal wickets with Lillee, huge achievement.
Siddle to 217 wickets, now 12th in the most wickets for Australia.
Cummins now equal with Paul Riffel on 104.

Roles reversed this test.

Both teams do have solid lower orders though so its not overly surprising.

I'll give him credit .... he's absolutely fearless while fielding at short leg. Doesn't flinch or blink.

He is, but I'd imagine some short leg fielders of days gone bye would like to wear the protective equipment he has as his disposal.
