Read my post above. If Cripps was deliberately tanking he is most definitely a pea heart.

Best player in the comp my friend!

Well according to Carlton fans he has deliberately been tanking the last few weeks to get Bolton sacked. That makes him a sook and a pea heart.
And he can put his best player awards next to his growing spoon collection

That’s bullshit.
He’s been carrying the side for far too long.
He was ordinary last week but so was everyone else.
He’s as good as anyone in the comp.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Well, your fellow Carlton fans reckon there is no way he can be beaten convincingly like he has the last few weeks and that he was tanking deliberately.

About 5K at Metricon for the start. They must have gone to the wrong stadium.

Collingwood skipper Scott Pendlebury has labelled the decision on Saturday to keep Marvel Stadium’s roof open a “shambles”.
Piercing sunshine forced fans at the Coventry end of the field to shield their eyes for the majority of the Carlton-Brisbane match, prompting Pendlebury’s stinging social media criticism.

“We talk a lot about what’s good for the fans and viewers,” the left-footer wrote on Twitter.

“I’ll tell ya one thing that no one enjoys, the bloody roof open! Shambles.”
We talk a lot about what’s good for the fans and viewers, I’ll tell ya one thing that no one enjoys, the bloody roof open! Shambles

Pendlebury wasn’t the only AFL star to express his frustration at the situation, with Port Adelaide midfielder Tom Rockliff labelling it “shocking for everyone”.

Foxfooty.com.au understands the AFL are the sole decision makers when it comes to the roof of the stadium.

If a game is due to start before 3pm and there is less than a 20 per cent chance of rain in Melbourne, the league will leave it open.

The roof looks as if it will stay open today. Imagine leading up and trying to take a mark squinting into this. @FOXFOOTY #AFLBluesLions

Saturday’s clash began at 1.40pm and there was a 10 per cent chance of rain, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

But the sunshine, which was coming from the Lockett end, caused problems in the warm-ups for both teams.

Brisbane veteran Daniel Rich was forced to where a cap, while one Blues player was heard asking why the league “just doesn’t shut the roof.”

Pendlebury’s tweet was retweeted by Channel 7’s official Twitter account, while several fans watching at home on Fox Footy wrote how difficult it was to view the game on television.

It’s understood both broadcasters would prefer the roof closed at all times.

The primary reason Marvel Stadium’s sunshine is more piercing than any other ground relates to the ground’s configuration.

All professional football ovals in Australia (and the vast majority of community ones) have one set of goals at the east end and the other at the west.

But Marvel by design is north-south, creating a situation where players and fans at one end of the field are squinting directly into the sun for extended periods of time.

Postby Jim05 » Sat Jun 08, 2019 6:24 pm

The game is screwed

Big call but I have watched the last 20 minutes and this is the worst game of footy I have ever seen. Both team are absolutely junk!! Embarrassing display of our great game

It was in jest at the Carlton fans who claimed he was “tanking” last week.
Anyway enjoy that second win [emoji23]
