Partner went in labor unexpectedly and ridiculously quick so there was no chance to get the hospital

Lucky partner mum is a midwife so went ahead with a home birth, calling an ambulance and playing midwife assistant luckily everything went all well and mum and bubs are doing great

Congratulations you mad,mad bastard.

The days of being a mad bastard are long gone lol

And also scary given my wife is due in 2 weeks. I better bloody get to the hospital :)

Lol yeah definitely don't recommend it

The partner had very early labour pains so we thought we would make the drive from Blyth to her parents house in Cudlee Creek (birth was meant to be at Gawler)

Got to the house and she was still on having inconsistent early labour pain, I decided to have a nap in preparation for a long next day.

Hour and half later the house was woken up by the partner screaming 'I need to push', she went to the toilet for a dump and then bang game on!!!

Funnily enough when we went through Gawler I said to her a few times 'are your sure you don't want to stop'

She was really confident saying they didn't feel any worse than period cramp and that it was definitely only pre labour stuff.

I have 3 words which describe the birthing process to someone who hasn't had kids or witnessed it

1. beautiful
2. Disgusting
3. Incredible

Ha Ha, only on my first beer too!
5 days in a row, not snow. It is cold though!
Stupid phone!

PS Tuesday night is Toss the Boss night at my local, every time you get a beer/s the bar maid tosses a coin and if you call it correctly you get a free beer/s. Didn't spend a cent last week!
