The fact that clubs are losing more money than the pittance the Crows give them.

Not all Benny. Have heard initially looking at about 50/50 at this stage. Port obviously would play at Alberton but the Crows would need to possibly rent a ground. Wouldn’t be surprised if they look at Norwood once the new clubrooms are done as their Women are pretty much based out of there otherwise Thebby?

Still - the SANFL don’t own the licence for either AFL teams anymore - so they can’t control this.

And if they did play their games at Norwood - do you really think norwood would turn down a hire fee for the oval?

It does seem pretty weird that you guys have spent years wanting the crows and port out of the comp, citing them as the sole reasons for the comp declining, and how at the first hint of them gone you want them to pay?

Even though that money was deemed never enough to begin with?

And it’s the crows job to bail them out?

I want them out no matter the cost. I just hope they are made to pay a very handsome price for which ever ground they hire

Didn’t say it is their job but Crows fans seem to think their inclusion has saved the league whereas in fact it’s quite the opposite.
Clubs would be better off financially with them gone

“We never wanted you in this comp but now that you are leaving, make sure you pay us”

Is that really going to fly?

4 years into a 15 year contract you bet it will.

Sanfl to gutless to try but to quote mr Olsen “a contract is a contract”.

Btw crows make $3 mill a year what are crying about ??

Would surprise me if there wasn’t a clause in that contract about a national afl reserves comp. but only guessing

A national reserves comp has always been the best solution for everyone.

Almost as funny as Crows fans forgetting where they come from.
Without the SANFL you wouldn’t exist and the SANFL are still looking after you with free rent at West Lakes. Maybe it’s time you give a little bit back hey?

But only guessing.

Didn’t we pay about 15 million for the licence?

You could probably argue the sanfl wouldn’t exist without the crows from 1900 to 2015 or whenever it was the licence was bought

We just want them out. At any cost.
But if they break their contract the SANFL should be able to break theirs with a rent free Footy Park.
1 or 2 mill a year should cover it.
The SANFL dont have an issue with the Crows, the SANFL fans do. Neither is a spokesperson for either.

Have not forgotten at all, but its not nice when Mum and Dad disown their own children. But, the kids are now adults and time to leave home. Not sure the kid needs to pay Mum and Dad money as they leave though but anyway...
