Add that to:
Frith

Grogan
Purcell

Pretty reasonable lineup.. and they've obviously picked up surplus from Eastern Park, North Pines and Smithfield which will bolster their B grade

Have not seen Halls or Fuller so would not if they are playing.

Don't really need to reply to this LM but will, we don't pay players but people can think what they want. We have best players incentives and If we did pay we would have recruited all our former juniors that play else where - Brading, Brooks, Nickolas, Russell, Mark etc. We have targeted some of former juniors to return to the club and past players back to the club as we think the club has been heading in the right direction off field in the last few years. Now we are just wanting to have more on field success and have been lucky with people at the club chasing their mates to play together. It is lot easier to attract families to the club if they are happy with the environment that is being created. Not sure Ian Williamson haven't seen him or has he been mentioned at all this season, but as a former junior would be great if he wanted to head home to the units.

Will be very interesting to see how OSB and Marion go here.

An excellent move by both clubs, although I feel bad for Northern teams playing at OSB...

Don't write of others Teams of yet, Gullies we be better with what they have recruited to div 1 and they finished 3rd last year. We will improve and intend to play finals but we are coming from a far way back last year 7th so we need to improve. It will be interesting division with the new clubs and we can't wait for the season to start.

It will be interesting to see how Marion and Lonsdale fit in to div 7.
although they have come from a league where they smashed most weeks, have to remember that the teams in the SFL would be aleast equivalent to div 3/div 2 in saafl.
i would guess that most div 7/6 side would be in the same position playing against those side

having said that im tied up with Marion, and there is huge excitement this year to get afew wins on the board (its been 2 years)
with 40 plus at every training and 10-15 new A grade players to the club (sfl quality) . things are looking up for the mighty rams

Quick look at the clearances shows the return of a club favourite ruckman and the talk is also the return of a former A grade captain who despite his age, would play good footy in D7. Things are certainly on the up at the club, hasn't looked this promising in years. Looking forward to seeing the results after Round 1.

You didn't need to mate, it's a northern suburbs club thing.

I know many of your current players and many that are heading out there and I can vouch that I am totally behind your statement, there seems to be a lot of comradeship in the entire playing group and everyone is getting on board.

I'm forever seeing on FB players tagging other players to get them out with the emphasis of "playing with mates and the guernsey", it's good to read as the numbers keep rolling on.

Good luck to you guys, hopefully some rewards for some hard work behind the scenes and full credit to the young lads that have stuck around in the tough times.
