Was planning on going but decided against it, I've got the Greenday Musical this weekend, Hotter than Hell ( Grinspoon, Spiderbait ) next weekend and a full calendar the following two weekends.

Mate won 2 tickets on MMM so his Mrs and my Mrs are going, the fact we saw them only a couple of years ago means I'm not too disappointed to not be going tonight....until the girls go and get on the train that is.

Mate of mine who's an absolute gig-whore couldn't speak highly enough of the Greenday musical

Reviews from the Perth gig were top notch, from some vids I saw on insta looks like they have moved the set list around a bit, looking forward to seeing the best in the business.

A few people lining up already. Gates open at 4.

Think I'm at my usual bar just inside the Manson St entrance.

As it gets closer I'm getting a little more keen on it. Initially it was to satisfy* Mrs Boon, going to musical and all that.

My only wish, the a/c in Her Majesty's is ok seeing Saturday is 42°!

There's a doco on SBS On Demand about the Green Day thing. Me and my wifes friend are both emo's from way back, so we were talking about it. Not too keen.

Then we watched the doco and she's obsessed with it. I'm not a huge musical fan, but it does look good.

I was invited to tender the upgrade back before Xmas, I didn't have time to review the docs at that point, I might go back and see how dire the situation is! ( Or maybe I shouldn't )

Fooeys going on at 8 and finish at 11.
First band sounded very ordinary, hopefully Weezer lift the standard higher.
