Has anyone been to either Africola or golden boy?
They are the next places on my list
Golden Boy is fantastic, go the Tuk Tuk.
I think my review is in this thread somewhere

It's located next to Chicken Chef at Gilles Plains, and it's fast become my favourite take away place.
Specialise in Vietnamese and Thai cuisine.
Super friendly, polite and accommodating staff, quiet, well lit dining room with soft relaxation music playing sets the tone and provides comfort - I always feel welcome and special when I go there.
Well priced, quality food, always fresh ingredients - yet to have a dish that I haven't enjoyed!
Dine in and take away available, I was going to post some of my fav dishes but I have so many and as mentioned haven't had a bad one yet - just lurk FB and have a suss of their menu, good range of options.

We also tried 2KW with friends soon after and found the food good and the menu less expensive than I'd expected - but the wine was not cheap.

I have been here for 1 hour and 8 minutes. Took 15 minutes to be seated despite the dining area being well under half full and us having a couple of hungry kids in tow
I still don't have my f@cken food. Shit house customer service. Even if the food is good we will never ever be back.

Jug of coke
Onion rings - entree with aioli....absolutely superb
Chicken parmi - good pub standard
Porterhouse steak - medium rare...cooked perfectly
$56 with Ent book voucher
Service was good and food came out quite promptly.
A much better experience than last.
During the entree....i had to ask the Mrs where we were??? Those Onion rings were very good.
Overall a solid 8/10. Will be back in future to go through the steak menu.

yep, always forget the Vic despite it being the closest pub to us, always pretty happy with the meals there, they have a cheap steak deal at lunches also.
