Was only thinking the other day what adventures he'd been up to.....

11 week job in a rural area public health service about 90 odd km north-east of Perth in the Wheatbelt, filling in for a colleague on long service leave.

Apart from provided accommodation, car, and being paid moderately well, I took the opportunity to see New Norcia and the old Monastery there, the Avon Descent, and to go ballooning, as well as making a few trips down to Perth to catch up with old friends.

11 weeks was a bit long though, and I was looking forward to coming home after about 8 weeks.
