A forward line of:
R.Gray - Trengove - Neade
S.Gray - Dixon - Impey
Has 4 players who average less than a goal a game and a tall forward who has taken 1 more mark inside 50 in the AFL than me in two months. The opposition know this and then focus on the two forwards that can actually kick a goal. Time to put results ahead of dogma for the love of god!
To quote a poster from another site. The way Port are being played is like driving a Lamborghini with the hand brake on.

Lamborghini is a bit of a stretch but good analogy nonetheless.

What would Carlton be? A VW? Gets weighed down because there's nothing up front?

Yet we insist on playing foot pumps in our forward line.

Best ruckman? One of the better key forwards?
Better than average both of them but both nowhere near top echelon.

lol, Ryder has been the best ruckman this year. Grundy & Jacobs both not too far behind but not on Ryder's level at the moment.
Dixon up until 2-3 weeks ago was in All-Australian form. Had a lean couple of weeks but still would be in the squad

Ryder would be the AA ruckman, doubt Dixon would be in the squad

And I did say one of the better key forwards...not the best, but he's up there.
