There is no denying our injuries and unavailabilities mate. On the weekend our B's were made up of many C graders. I know every effort is being made with the C grade and to be honest considering how many C graders played we put up a bloody good fight in the B's before getting over ran in the last quarter. Our A Grade had a filthy day as well but we'll bounce back and fingers crossed we'll get some of our 23 A and B graders who were out on the weekend due to work, injury or unavailability back this week. That's not an excuse btw it's where we are at and we need to get ourselves out of it. That's footy! I couldn't even tell you how many C graders weren't available but it would be a lot also.

Hopefully you guys pull through. Is it one more forfeit and then that's it? (3 in a row).

I think that is correct.

@S Demon, I help out with a SANFL Under 18s club this year so haven't watched Kenilworth play this year.

I was close to being at the Valleys this year. @valleys07 and @FootyChick almost got me there

He didn't sustain any serious damage. Will likely be back playing in a couple of weeks.

The C grade has forfeited this week against Adelaide Uni
The B grade starts at 12:15pm and the A grade at 2:15pm at home

is that it for their C grade now?

We're scheduled to play them this week. Guess we'll find out soon enough if there is a game on or not

Congrats to Modbury legend Ronnie Wade who plays his 400th game for MFC this weekend. A true clubman in every sense of the word!

Yep and in a 5 minute period he ended your C grades season and kicked twice as many goals as your entire B grade team did for the entire game.

5min period that coincided with the arrival at the ground of Grae Grant.. coincidence? I think not!

Congrats to Jordan Pepper who tomorrow runs out for his 300th game for Hope Valley. At least 250+ of them were played in the A grade. Only the 7th player to reach that milestone in our 110+ year history. Hope you have good one Pep!!

300 games and 25,000 "back doors"

A magnificent accolade for a HV legend on and off the field. Only one thing left for him to tick off in the mighty red and blue. Hopefully the boys can take care of that in 7 weeks time.

Congratulations Pep!!

My attitude mirrors yours, Zed. Have to get there first, and from there it is anyone's game.

We have played some super footy so far this season, the challenge is to keep focused and try and build on what we have already produced.

Didn't have any problems in the dry in Round 8.

Get past tomorrow and we can answer some more questions against Uni next week.
