Get a home loan then don't want it see if the bank will just say oh ok don't worry about it. Signatures have to be worth something and sooner the younger generation realise it the better fwiw.

Hope broadies hold firm and he stands out for the year

would the same apply is he was one of the worst players? I doubt it

we are talking about playing local footy not taking out mortgages for hundreds of thousands of dollars

Broadview may want to consider changing their policy here or will end up with a bad image

for what its worth they will get smoked by 10+ goals this week by SHOC

Pretty much guaranteeing a 23 year old will never return to the club, nice that you'd prefer a young lad to not play footy at all then.

A game of footy and a home loan are a fairly different kettle of fish.

Yeah, he's lodged a few clearances to the same club but we'll go with that.

I cant be bothered looking at the rules but is there any sort of clearance fee a club can pay in order to get the clearance through for situations like this?

He probably wouldn't have signed a contract for remuneration if he was one of their 'worst players'

Whats the go with gaza? ask for 3 trials vs golden grove A, B and C grades then ask to pull the B and C to a 6 quarter game then call it quits half way through the 4th quarter, Where have all their numbers gone?

And this my friends is why SAust footy is deteriorating at a rapid rate of knots. Country clubs who break salary caps come and raid city clubs for their better players and you all think that's fine. So glad I'm out of it.

A bit disappointing, but we had something like 23 players from just our A/B grade squad unavailable for one reason or another (work, cricket finals, injuries, holidays, etc).
Definitely felt bad for the GG B graders who basically missed out on playing a game as a result.
Nothing concerning for us as a club, as most of those unavailable last week should be showing their face this week (if they haven't already).

I'm quietly confident you have had no issue being released from your previous clubs my friend ;)

I agree with your sentiment though, if someone doesn't want to be at our club then it's Bon voyage. Blokes who commit to a club and then jump ship for cash will soon have a reputation for doing so and word spreads pretty quick in the football world.
