Fair call, shit movie, what with Mickey Mouse running around casting spells to classical music.

Top pick-up, wouldn't be surprised if he goes in one of the drafts though.

Yeah, most clubs will watch "Rocky" or something, but whatever floats your boat Norwood.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Can't be 100%, so perhaps I should put a Cork in it. ;)

Apparently he just wants to Kilkenny Hinkley for Celting him from the squad.

Eire'd be shocked if that happened, he should keep his gun in its Ulster.

I'd Tipperary good season for the 'Dogs if Butcher does sign on.

Brad McKenzie to Norwood rather than Sturt after being delisted by the Roos.

That's a shame, money talks.

Hopefully the Blues can pick someone good up to replace Martin.

Seems like a good pick up for the Bloods

JAKE WILSON SIGNS WITH THE BLOODS

The West Adelaide Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Jake Wilson for the next 2 years.
Jake has played for Werribee in the VFL over the last few seasons. Photo: David Smith
Jake, originally from Portland, moved to Melbourne as a 17 year old and spent two years with VFL team Williamstown before moving to Werribee where he has been a standout key defender, earning VFL team of the year honours.

Jake, 24 years old, 194cm and 93kg, was one of Victoria’s very best players in the state game played at Adelaide Oval against South Australia
We are confident that Jake will add experience, leadership and a great deal of know how to our defensive structure. Jake is a plumber by trade and we welcome him and his partner Maddie to our club.

If we can get former players Keough, Tippett and Bates back that would be handy. Reasonably confident on a couple of those

In my humble estimations, Simon Phillips is at least as good as Michael Aish as an effective
goal scoring forward. Therefore I would be devastated if he were to be poached by ANY
other club after being loved, cared for, and constantly re-habilitated by any club other
than the Norwood Football Club for any shoulder & all other injuries he may have sustained.

Totally different player to Michael Aish. More analogous to Greg Turbill or Alby Menzel from that sort of era.

Phillips turns 30 next year, which is a weird time to join a new SANFL club for anything other than premiership success (see: Rocky Roberts, Jim West, Ben Warren). And apart from the fact that he's already got those medals, West Adelaide 2017 wouldn't be your #1 destination if you were desperate for more. In fact, Phillips said recently that despite his dodgy shoulder, his motivation for going on was to get another flag. So I'm a little sceptical.
