There's no substitute for a few runs and wickets, especially when the team is under the pump. Makes a player feel that they belong and are up to the level. Earns the respect of their new team mates.
T20 double header is a good idea too. Helps bring the men's and women's sides of the club together
Exactly, I was expecting a lean year so it was good for her to gain some confidence as she hit 3 boundaries, she's only 13 and they have told us as long as she attends training and quits her hard wicket team they will play her in the A's all season to develop her skills.
She's recently changed her medium pacers to offies and she picked up the wicket of a very accomplished player on the weekend caught behind.
I agree, it's a good ploy to get everyone on the same page and see some unity in the club.
