Disgraceful holding the ball decision there. Had no chance.

Norwood are a totally different side this quarter; intensity right up. They are saying a big crowd?

I'd say the crowd is about 3,500 plus. Grandstands are half full, which is a definite sign of a good crowd at Unley.
Norwood looked a lot more confident that quarter, their work in the center was more effective. Sturt's skills in defence fell away, possibly as a result.
Stood in amongst a group of Norwood supporters in the first quarter. Some of the things they wanted holding the ball for made me laugh.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Yep, pretty good effort after quarter time. Matched the endeavour for thr first three quarters last week. We're gradually getting some system back. Probably helps that the list is getting a bit healthier too.

Reckon we saw goal of the year today.

Looking forward to hearing as to why David Oatey is apparently laughing his ass off.

Amazing how we lifted after quarter time, must of had something to do with some players having a heated debate with Cotton and can definately say a couple were potting the coach

Reckon that the 4 or 5 ins for Norwood has lifted them. Possibly took a quarter for them to gel, but Norwood were pretty good in the final 3 quarters.
Wind was favouring the end Sturt kicked to in the first, but our third quarter with the breeze was much harder work. A couple of times our forwards had trouble holding their marks when directly in front, having said that, our straight kicking gave us the edge, so I'll take the good with the bad.
A couple of indigenous lads stood out for the Legs, Chippendale worked hard to create contests and thwart Sturt's forward movements. I can't recognise any other Norwood players by sight, bt they look a lot better when the pieces fall in place. In my humble opinion it looked as though they believed in what they were doing after getting the first couple of goals in the second quarter. If they remain injury free they'll upset a few sides for the remainder of the year. I'm glad we don't have them again and I hope they don't make finals.
We were lucky to get the break that we did early on. Good to get the win, and I guess the bye has arrived at a good time.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
