Do Tell what is going on down at Shark Park????

The Knives are out and at the ready.......

Think there are more issues than the Coach down on Cudmore Terrace......

Here we go. Heater again joining in the rumour and gossip thats not true. If it's not having a go at the WT cricket club, he's now changed his attention to more false rumours about Kym Cobb getting the flick. Cobb is still the coach at the Sharks and just more crap written on here.

if he doesn't win a couple of games soon there could be truth to the rumours. Henley playing Div 2 would not be acceptable.

The Hound and Heater change their attack from the WT cricket club to the Henley Football Club. What under 12 parent, is going to have any idea of what is happening with the senior football side of the club? None. Under 12 parents go and watch little Johnny play on a Sunday morning, and wouldn't have a clue about the senior football, at their club. Sure the A grade aren't winning, so there's always pressure on the players and coaches, but Henley and the players will ride this out. Hardly a club in trouble with the continual recruits from Henley High coming through, and a brilliant junior programme. Some people actually believe the shit and garbage written on this forum, which is even more disturbing.

How long is the current spell in Division 1?

Won 4 senior flags in about 2004 which the A's were Div 2.

Probably since junior sides were introduced in the mid 80s. The juniors growth saw the seniors go on the conquer SAFA div 1 flags and then when reintroduced to the SAAFL mid 90s via henley greek, it with an always massive conquering junior base has been highly regarded and it is expected by all internally and externally that the seniors be always on the top div 1 shelf with the talent at hand

Without any juniors, (pre 1980s) hfc probably spent more time in div 2 than div 1 since the 1920s

Whos the knowitall now knowitall

with all that going on, those internally and externally might think that its Henley that should or could have all those premierships instead of Goodwood. I guess that makes you something else on the shelf.

Oyster if your seniors and juniors are run as two separate clubs as you have suggested by saying no U/12 parent would know whats going on at senior level, that may be the reason for any problems. Prolonged success at senior level is only the result of a well run junior program. i see there was some comparisons above with your club and Goodwood Saints, i can tell you that they haven't won so many recent premierships by luck. Look at their junior program and the success of their juniors.

Ahhh Oyster and their in lies your problem The Hound and Heater change their attack from the WT cricket club to the Henley Football Club. Under 12 parents go and watch little Johnny play on a Sunday morning, and wouldn't have a clue about the senior football, at their club. Maybe those associated with the senior side of things should show some interest in the juniors. For what its worth i think Henley should sack Cobby. We haven't had a good sacking so far this year. Swing that axe and off with his head. You generally get a win the following week.
