Hawthorn are at 59,000 currently, West Coast 49,000. Couldn't find Adelaide, Collingwood or Richmond numbers to date.

We are a tick over 37,000 currently which is excellent considering our situation. If we are cleared again I would think we will go over the 60k mark

18 teams are flying at this time of year...I wish there was more focus on the % of the squad that complete full pre-season or majority of the sessions, I reckon that would relate well to how the team performs during the season proper. Im guessing clubs would not like this info to be made public.

You hear so many stories come late in the year how some ones's season was de-railed by not having an adequate pre-season.

The loss of Ryder and Monfries for 2016 will hurt us. Not so much Gus, he'd not be one of our first 14-16 picked, Ryder, on the other hand would be one of the first picked and the game plan for 2016 I am sure would have involved much of his ruck work.

Clearly Dixon was targeted with two things in mind :

-Schulz is getting on
-Ryder might cop a ban at some stage

Shit.

The club prepared for 2016 expecting Ryder & Monfries to cop a ban. The length of the ban probably unexpected however.

Lobbe being kept may in fact as it turns out to be the single most important decision Port have made in recent times.

Shouldn't make much difference to port, because Ryder will have the same amount of impact this year as he did last season.

Interesting to hear Kochie talk about the specific deals offered to Paddy and Gus last year. Both offered small bans in a similar mould to the Cronulla players, both going against legal advice to fight to clear their names.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I would give a penny for their thoughts right now.

And WADA have stated numerous times that they would of appealed any lenient bans, they wanted 12 month bans all along

6 week bans yes but I think 3 months bans may habe been mentiomed as well.

I find it ironic that Port used the ASADA case to coerce Paddy into breaking a contract with Essendon but then complain when he cops a ban.
Can sympathise with them over Gus

No sympathy over Ryder but would Monfries even make their best 22 this year? Out of contract at years end so might be over for him

No PAFC official is seeking compensation for Ryder. Koch openly admitted on 7 they went into trade negotiations with eyes wide open. Only the irrational minority of fans are seeking compo for Paddy.

Gus on the other hand...
