In the reserves interestingly a lot of the names listed in the Top 20 have only played a handful of games, half or 2/3 of the season.. which makes me lean towards Kurtis Smith (Brahma)
Congrats to both winners, very deserving - Sumner is a jet! Probably deserved to win the D6R medal last year as well!

I wouldn't pay too much attention to how the umpires voted. They are struggling to keep up with the play most of the time to even worry about who is doing what during the game.

Round 4 - Ingle Farm v Fitzroy.. Darren Francis 5 goals, then drops loose in defence for the last quarter and repels every F50 entry.. dominates the game, Fitzroy win by 19pts.. Does not poll a single vote.
Ingle Farm receive the 2 and 1 vote to Naylor and Raegar - neither were named by Ingle Farm amongst their best players.

I think if you break down individual poling, you'll find errors, but generally over the terms of the season, it'll even out & the right players will still win the medals.
Having said that, I was in the best for us in round 4... Just another case of the Milky Bar Kid being robbed votes and Raeger, being an unjustified vote thief!

Yet they appear to have got it right?
Cmon Arch, you're smarter than this. Using the metric "does the winner deserve it" - it's nigh on impossible for them to get it wrong.
Any of the best 20 players in just about any amateur comp would be a "deserving" winner.

I was waiting for you Morell I believe if there is no complaints of the actual winner they have it right mate. Now lets not take away what is actually happening tomorrow. What's your tips Morrell?

Arghhh damn you and you disarming nature.
Tomorrow I think Smithfield will bounce back sorry mate. Even in their game against Lockleys they managed to kick a score. The result earlier in the year went their way to the tune of 42 points. I cant see them losing two games in a row at home.
In the magoos no idea, but I have heard @Zartan has stolen my tactics from earlier in the year which would explain their success . But again, at home, Smithfield for me.
