Since then all these juniors have got their games in and they have picked up a host of first rounders and Lamumba, Dawes, Garlett and these types. They still put forward performances like last week and this trash v the bottom team in the first half is laughable. The bloke is Teflon

What thought process occurred in his mind when he did that? Even without the point post being there, you could easily understand before contact was made that the only thing he was ever going to hit was Wingard's head. I know the point post is padded, but it is still solid enough to be one half of a sandwich or a fulcrum to bend someone's head at an unnatural angle. Hodge should have the book thrown at him for that IMO, just a plain stupid act.

Wristy, being serious for a sec, I agree. Guys like Beveridge and Simmo at WCE have gone past him I reckon. The new breed is "in" and the new breed is being surpassed.

Agree, even Ken Hinkley has been superb for Port despite having a huge lull this year.

I look at someone like Eade and think why Gold Coast why? A club needs to get pro-active and look for new directions. Even Phil Walsh has sent the Crows in the right direction.

The next generation of coaches is upon us and you don't need 300 games and a Brownlow to be a good coach, as a matter of fact it may not even help.
