It was on North Terrace close to King William Street opposite the train station somewhere, downstairs. That's all I can remember  By the time we got there, we'd been out all night. Very alternative, fantastic place.

Which reminds me of another one somewhere around the back streets between Hindley and North Terrace probably where the Uni is now. Bvggered if I can remember what that one was called. I remember it had a lot of different coloured squares in it...

hehehe the T Bone club was around there somewhere MK back behind Worlds End iirc

Used to go to the Stockade after work for a drink when I worked at Fasta Pasta.

As for the Eureka - funnily enough I went there for the first time since the McMahons days last Thursday night. My cousin was running the poker night there - so we popped in to say g'day.

OMG is that a dingy place! I laughed so hard when I went in there. Scary.

PS: you can add The White Horse to my list as well. Those were fun nights!

I used to go to a place in Gouger Street called "POP". (mid 90's)
It was the Stix Pool Hall , it was across the road from the Mars Bar.
Big Fat DJ Ian used to play some fantastic Indie tunes and old 1980's hits.
He used to be a prick when you used to request songs - you always got the reply "We already played that!".
Used to get pissed off that drink called XLR8. It was a combination of Coke, Gurnana, Caffine and Bourbon (I think). I used to go nuts on it. Still wide awake at 7am!!
Other haunts for me :
The Norwood
The Grand then the pissed walk to Lennies when it shut
The Seacliff (Christmas Eve used to be HUGE!!)
The Office
Dreamers (shocking!!!) on North Tce
joppies - always started a night promising never to go there but always ended there!!
prosceinim - just to stare at a few gothics and wollow in self pity!!!

Good days :D

Southee - do you remember the Pop Start?

The Prodigy album launch?

Song 2 getting all the punters on the floor?

And yes DJ Ian or DJ Fat Ian as we called him could get a little grumpy.

I dont remeber the start Dogwatcher. I was always at the $20 chuck around the corner at the Old Queens Arms. $20 got you all the beer, wine and spirits you could drink - very messy!!!
But I do remember the end of POP! with the playing of the theme song from the Wombles!!!
Song 2 - well I just remember the crowd going nuts for 1 and a half minutes - mayhem!!!
Great club!! :D

Was a fun club to go to.
I was always scared the floor would collapse during Song 2 and we'd end up in the Greek restaurant down below.

'Life' at the Old Lion in 92 went alright.

Most others mentioned although Primary @ Proscenium was a definite fave once I worked out that 95% of the people at the Royal and Havelock were wankers!

In the hills the place to go was the German Arms in Hahndorf.
A lot of the hills league players would go there so you could catch up with who won during the day.
Then at 1 am when the German arms closed it was a stagger down the road to " GG's speakeasy " night club.
Then it changed its name to " Atomix " which was supposed to lift its image......... but it didn't. Was a bit of a dive but it was the only place to go.

One night I noticed Dean Woosnam and Eddie Hocking sitting in the German Arms so being a Westies supporter I went and introduced myself and had one of the best nights ever.
We got smashed togeather and I tell you what Dean Woosnam was CRAZY!!!!!!!
Not enough brain cells left to do that sort of thing anymore! :partyman: #-o
Wolf Pack. OOOOOOOWWWWWW.

I've been on a few footy trips to Hahndorf - and the Arms provides oodles of entertainment.
