The poms totally outplayed us. Cook has transformed from being the most negative captain in world cricket to an attacking full of ideas skipper.
Pressure must come on the older guys now. why cant Watson bat outside leg stump, outside off stump or way down the track to minimise lbw? Or maybe he could just use the bat.

Yep they have to be dropped!!! Well at least one of them. Surely??????????

Also, if Voges was to fail in the second test then Shaun Marsh would replace him?

Selection will be interesting in the coming days.

After all the build up and excitement of this series I'm one bitterly disappointed Australia cricket supporter at the moment. I know we can bounce back and I'm really looking forward to seeing how will we respond to this.

Selection won't be interesting because all they will do is drop Voges for Marsh and we will be 2-0 down by Monday week.

I think Watson is a spud as much as the next guy but our selectors want have the balls to drop the reet
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Agree 100% but I bet they wont drop Haddin for Nevill as they claim Lords is a tough place for a keeper with the slop. They will "claim" they wants Haddins experiance & not make the call. Pi$$ him off I say

My XI for Lords Test:

Rogers
Warner
Smith
Clarke
Voges
Nevill
Marsh
Johnson
Starc/Ahmed
Hazlewood
Lyon

Watson and Haddin out. Nevill to bat 6. If Starc isn't fit, bring in the leggie.

The Lords pitch for the NZ was green and bouncy, no way we will play 2 spinners.

The only changes that i see being made will be Marsh in for Watson and Siddle in for Starc.
