Went to Mawson's KFC Saturday night and got my customary 15 wicked wings.

Upon devouring my 6th one I looked in the box as things weren't adding up, there were still 14 left in the box.

I will circle the drive thru next Saturday evening hoping the same girl is working there.

13/10, the same ratio as the 20/15 pieces I got.

Haven't had a lot of Indian in my lifetime (not a big spice fan) but was real quality. $25ish for a main though. 25% off from Ent Book Gold Card.

Approx $150 for 4 mains eat-in, two main take-aways, couple of serves of rice, garlic naan, cheese naan and a couple of jugs of coke.

It's the only potato & gravy I can eat. It's the only one that's not creamy/milky-tasting.

The only coleslaw I'll eat is at the footy club with my dinner on a Saturday night.

I make the best mashed potato and I buy the best gravy. I like dumping their coleslaw on a silverside beef and cheese sandwich.

This gravy is the only one I'll buy, it's hard to find though. I will get the chicken one too for some variance.

Burger Foundry on Magill road

My girlfriend and I went there for dinner tonight and we loved it, I was very impressed. The burgers were top notch! Very tasty and satisfying.

They have a nice little setup there, it's very similar to Pancakes at the Port in the way it's run, definitely recommend going there for a feed.

Late 90s Fri nite used to be steak night, $5 rump steak cooked, not to perfection but pretty damn close!

Missus used to live around the corner so we would frequent it regularly along with The Beach Pitt (hamburger joint at the top end of the Jetty Rd Brighton shopping strip).

Good times but yeah wasn't impressed with the restaurant section the last time we went post AHL takeover.

Got outvoted by the missus' family and we went back last night.

Not better. When the highlight is the kids area for the under 8s and the Sat nite balloon man you know they're not aiming at fine dining.

Gravey tasted a day old and had about five bits of mushroom in it. Schnitty was OK but I'm not known for being fussy

Missus didn't like the coating on her schnitty (oily) or the chips.

other meals looked just OK.

Whilst I still have young nephews I fear I'll be forced to go back....
