Round 7 Sturt v Centrals @PMO Sunday 2.10

Postby DOC » Sun May 10, 2015 11:18 pm

Though Centrals played much the better football than us last Saturday. Sturt led Port well at one stage but kicked 10 of their 11 goals in two quarters.

A more consistent effort from Sturt and they will be too hard to beat at home.

Should be a comfortable Sturt win, but anything except a four quarter effort could see a different outcome than expected.

Schiller is a big out and the ins are not exactly household names. Once again I cant see us kicking enough and Im a little concerned there could be a blow out. Sturt by 30 points.

Matt Duldig kicked 11.1 in his second game back in the reserves - 8 were from marks/general play.

To be fair I could have kicked 11.1 against our reserves side yesterday.

Centrals could've won this game if not for some bad kicking in the last. Can't see Sturt going too far this year playing like that. Some shocking forward entry's.

We actually outscored Sturt by 5 points after quarter time. There were better signs yesterday. Just some lapses in concentration and poor disposal again.

Thommo had is best game for the year and Schiller played well. Good to see Reichert back in the reserves.

Yep, I like Schiller. Good pace and breaks the lines. He was a standout last year or the year before out at Elizabeth when Sturt had a good win.
