To answer the question posed before, I believe Salisbury and North Haven have only met twice, in D5 in 2002 and D4 in 2007.

Wouldn't be many playing from the last time the two teams met, we might only have 4 I think.

even without knowing the measurements I would of thought Salisbury was longer after all I played 6 grand finals there as a junior st Marys is a fairly wide oval as well doesn't really matter both huge ovals haha

Pag, you do remember how much they shortened Salisbury Oval by a few years back? Was it to make way for cricket nets or something?

North Haven up by 1 point in the A grade, made for an intense finish. Really happy for the boys to get the points in Trent Kolbig's 300th game.

Salisbury really impressed me, their game plan is almost AFL like and on their big ground they stick to it really well. In the B's they ran over the top of us, disappointing to lose but we learn some valuable lessons from it. Alot of boys in both A and B grade thought they were a really good side, they'll definitely be around the mark later in the year IMO.

I heard Salisbury had a shot at goal with about 20 secs to go and hit the post...?

Not sure how long was left but yeah Salisbury player had a shot on goal and hit the post, if he had goaled it they would of won.

Disappointing way to lose a game but credit to North Haven, they led most of the day, took more of their chances and deserved to win.

Congrats again to Boosh on his 300th.

Congratulations to the lads from Eastern Park on the weekend. A tight game played in good spirits. We were right in it for most of the day but the few goals we conceded late in the 3rd quarter meant we couldn't quite get our noses in front in the last and they kicked a couple of steadying goals to seal the result late in the 4th.

The bloke that played in the ruck/ff was a man mountain.

I know it's early in the season... but I think the relegation zone for Div 4 is going to be a real cliff hanger for the bottom 5 teams this year. Percentage could prove the difference. Glenunga would obviously have to be early favs for relegation, but I'm struggling to pick an obvious second team to be demoted. May need to wait until the mid-season break to have a better idea. Wins and percentage will be like gold come seasons end. =D>
