I guess it will be difficult to prove one way or the other but will be interesting to see if that sort of thing happens regularly whenever the SANFL side play a day before the AFL side does.

"We'll play to the line" I think was what they said when lobbying to get the votes. Resting a bloke at 3/4 time when the game is still in the balance makes a mockery of that.

Happened at Glenelg last year. With the game in the balance, the clowns rested their starchild in the final term. Or so I heard.

does anyone actually have any evidence for that 4000 figure, whether that is extra or total?

seems to me reading that rucci article that it was 3000 total not extra.

I'm positive it was 3000, they were only 2990 off.

If you can't see how that undermines the integrity of the comp then there's no point me trying to explain further. Not everyone has a foot in each camp I guess.

Anyone who thinks either of the reserves teams give a flying f*ck if they win or lose is deluded.

Lol resting a player at 3QT when the game's in the balance almost amounts to throwing a game. It's the epitome of what we've all been talking about re wrecking the integrity of the competition. It takes an exceptionally immature individual to find any humour in this.

It's called a split personality. It's the same reason why old gossip "liked" your post whilst making some derisive reply to it.

If I had the time and resources available to me right now then I'd write a script to post "oh no I didn't" to this thread every 5 minutes.

why stop at 200? :)
