Fair call. Has to happen for a club to continually be contending.

Geelong being a good example of this. Collingwood not so much.

If the top enders in Gray and Boak are not getting $700k then some ordinary/average players must be getting overs as Port are paying 100% of the cap these days.

They may well be, but I can think of Trengove, Hartlett, Broadbent, Polec, Cornes, Ebert, Westhoff, Schulz, Monfries, and a handul of others who would all ( IMO ) be on the $350-400 mark. I think our squad is very even with few real stand outs ( with the exception of Boak and Gray )

Booney - Agree Wines and Wingard would not be on $500k+, but their next contract may well be and that is where the pressure will come. But there is no way Gray is on anything under $500k pa, many are saying he is now a top 10 player in the league which rightly demands a high salary.

Intelligent discussion? It's pretty hard to have one with you dutchy when all you do on this thread is try troll. Also I wasn't getting personal I was just stating the truth. The way you have carried on about this anyone would think Lobbe changed his name to Franklin. This contract isn't going to restrict us in the future, in fact this signing is a massive plus for the club.

Port Adelaide over 42,500 members already. The second highest tally the club has ever had and it's not 2015 yet.

Excellent work by the club and hopefully this sets us up for a "profitable" year ahead.

When you're stooping to material made by Crowtards on Facebook, you've got more problems than a geriatric with a second hand pink helicopter and blonde nutter on his arm. ;)

How good were some of the names though. Also Minton-Connell kicking 8 goals 2 weeks in a row in a losing side. Glory days.
