When does Walkerville officially kick off pre-season for 2015?

About 4 weeks ago

Was that the official ones or just the get together before xmas? Do you know when they start after the xmas break?

The boys are training once a week up to Christmas.

I think they start the second week of Jan but I haven't done a preseason in 5 years so don't quote me on that.

Cool. Ill keep a look out. Wanna give Div 2 reserves a crack maybe. See how I go with all the running they do.

We played walkerville in 2001 div 2, have they been stuck there all this time 14 seasons at least?

Walkerville have been in Div 3 since then, perhaps a couple of times? PAOC won Div 3 in 2004, not sure if they've been back down since or in Div 2 since then?

PAOC won Div 4 in 2009 and then made the GF in Div 3 in 2010 to move up to Div 2.

We came back into Div 2 in 2010.

As they both appear to have come up in 2010, it appears that Walkerville and the PAOC share the title of the Club(s) who have remained in Division 2 the longest of those currently listed.....although I am unsure when Gepps X was relegated from Division 1. I have feeling it was about 2010 or so.

I'm aware we won the flag in 2009 but I see it as we came up to div 2 in 2010 as that is the year we started back in Div 2. Each to their own.

I'm aware we won the flag in 2009 but I see it as we came up to div 2 in 2010 as that is the year we started back in Div 2. Each to their own.

Correct Suri.......FC confirmed that GX came down in 2012......so the Cats have the distinction of being this Division's longest serving Club from those lining up in 2015.......Over five seasons Walkerville has proven itself to be a consistent performer if nothing else.... and will have to do so again in what I think will be a tougher season than last year............

So 5 seasons is the max at the moment. Very unstable in that case.

mainly because it's the twilight zone, the level between not being good enough for the elite level and too good for the lower grades.
