Im gonna be stuck here for the rest of my life.


My desk will have everything adhered to it, key board, monitors, coffee cup etc etc and when I fling it skywards some nice soft close gas struts will slowly lower everything back into place.

Anger released, order is maintained. Perfect. :D

this - could be an opportunity for negotiation for better pay at your current workplace too

My 2c is that I wouldn't do that either.

Either don't say a word and stay where you are, or make up your mind to move and resign.

Once you entertain moving, even if framed in the most appropriate way, it can or may lead to irreparable damage to your relationship with that employer. This is not always true but I wouldn't take the risk if there was any thought of staying.
