Some of the names on the list are ridiculous though. Some worth some serious thought. My reckoning was

2.50 for Dew, an untried coach? He's stated publicly that he didn't make the move to Melbourne because 1, Sydney wouldn't let him go (last year) and 2, his missus is a newsreader and there are limited jobs in newsreading and she makes most of the money. That could all be rectified if you become the head honcho but Adelaide sacking a coach to take on an untried coach, after stating they're after a proven premiership coach*? Doesn't add up to me.

* Mind you, this was Chapman saying this, so god knows whether that will play out as such

5.00 for Nathan Bassett, smoky.

7.00 for Brendon Bolton - dunno about his media savvy-ness and is also pretty much untried.

9.00 for Mark Thompson who's said "no" after they sacked Sanderson. Couldn't see him coming either.

10.00 for Worsfold. Not sure he'd venture over here. Dunno where he is mentally and whether he wants to take on another gig yet. He may have the passion, who knows.
