Love how the stars of The Big Bang Theory called the network's bluff.

"Since you corporate asshats make truckloads through syndication, you can stick your $325k an episode where the sun don't shine... we want a cool mill."

And on top of that, they get an increased % in other assorted deals...

Yep I agree. They are the ones that make the show they should get a good deal for themselves

Definitely. Chemistry between the five principles make it. Even to lose one would impact.

The show gets crazy hate for some reason.

Maybe it's this "age of hyperbole?" Maybe it's the fact that it's an unashamedly old-fashioned multi-cam sitcom? Maybe it's other s#!t? Who knows? Who cares?

Funny enough for me. But maybe repeats five nights a week is a bit much. Especially those two-hour blocks they sometimes have.

Channel 9 would be rooted without Chuck Lorre...

Yeah people probably don't like it because of the saturation converge. But I only watch it when I download new seasons and I find it funny still. Not as good as modern family which is the best mainstream traditional sitcom going around but still good

True Detective Series 2 casting rumours heating up again.

First all the talk about Colin Farrell and now...

Vince Vaughn!

But if Ghostbusters 3 can have female leads, then so can TD.

Reakon they should bring back two well-known 80s ass-kickers for one last hurrah...

How good was that last night?!?! You knew it was brewing, but when it comes time to deliver it's often a let down .. Wasn't the case in last night's episode. Love this show!!

How can they end the series like that?!
Can't wait for S3 now!

Highway Patrol is the funniest show on TV.

Pretty much everyone they pull over is guilty as sin.

But that doesn't stop them lying their arse off to get out of trouble.

Or trying to lay down the law to police.

Basically, it's our Judge Judy.

On wheels...

Just started watching Deadbeat, starring Tyler Labine.

Sitcom about a medium who helps out ghosts with their problems.

Like, say, the ghost who died a virgin in the war and wants to get laid.

Funny premise and funny enough so far...

I'm not going to bag you, but...

If you like Offspring, I'm sure you'll also enjoy Ally McBeal. Another dramacom featuring a self-obsessed female professional who has a vivid imagination and quite often lives inside of it, often to the detriment of herself and those around her.

Ughhh

I'm a Homeland fan but I think season 4 might be jumping the shark.

Time will tell I guess.

i was thinking the same thing until reading that Brody was only meant to be in the first season, and that once the producers realised how well received the relationship between Carrie and Brody was they wrote him in for the next 2 seasons. They went on to say that they then had no direction for Brody, and that was why he wasn't in season 2 as much.

now they are going back to where they had originally planned for the show to go with Carrie being posted to the middle east for her counter terrorism work. the Brody family have been written out of the show and her baby will not be in this season as the landscape in the middle east is too volatile (whoda thunk it!)

i am too invested in to the show now to stop watching it for the 4th season. i just hope that it isn't an absolute train wreck, as it has the capability to be a great show again......as shown is season 1.

I couldn't stop watching season 1. Season 2 was good and Season 3.... well the only reason I kept watching was for the logical conclusion to the Brody by-line. I thought the twists in this last season were great though.

I was disappointed that they didn't have more around the family's reaction, interaction with the CIA etc. They sort of did a cut and shut. Season 4 has train wreck written all over it for mine. How often has a huge change in personnel been detrimental to shows? BUT I will watch it and hope for the best because if it regains it's season 1 grittiness, I'll happily eat my words.
