Massive loss to the competition and Richmond.
Although people around the football world will take the piss out of Jake King, as a Richmond supporter it's sad to see him go. Never had the most natural talent but I always watched knowing he would work his ass off every week, unlike some others we still have at the club. Can't ask for any more than that from the man. Managed to reinvent himself midway through a career too which isn't always easy.

113 games is a top dig from the Push Up I would have thought. Good career.

I agree Pag.

Probably says more about Richmond than King that he was on a list so long.

Never had much time for the Push Up King but what he did for that sick little kid was awesome. Poor little fella (the kid I mean LOL) probably won't have a long life with a lot of happy memories so for King to arrange to have him in the Tiger Rooms with his heroes was awesome. It was enough to bring a tear to a glass eye.

I also caught his presser. He seems like a pretty funny bloke. No teary goodbyes or bullshit, he just paid the hell out of Dimma and said goodbye with a smile and a joke. He also belted Alan Didak. So that's another plus.

SHAGGER! Used to love the little bloke when he was at Geelong becuase he is the same size as me (he might even be shorter). Not the biggest, not the best, not the fastest, not the toughest but good enough to play in two flags in a gun side. Well done Shagger, any time someone pays him out they can go home and polish thier knob while Shagger goes home and polishes his premiership medallions.

I'd rather look at the fact he sat with the cheer squad for a while as summing him up. Obviously a more personable bloke than most in his line of work.
