Went pretty well witht he only major issue being the dodgy paving job the contractors did. The site manager from Hickinbotham was disgraced by it (paving was done yesterday he only saw it today) he was ringing the blokes boss to give them a spray.

Other than that there is nothing more than very small issues.

We should be sorted by next friday and able to start moving in then.

Cant wait.

Great news! Nice work!

Meanwhile... I STILL have no bloody holes in the ground :(

check your contract and if it states all electrical gear is to be clipsal, go check the sub board and make sure it is. wouldn't be the first time a sparkie has done it.

*BUMP*

Ok, I think I'm about 4 weeks away [-o< from finally getting the keys to the house.

I'm now starting to look at Roller shutters. I have to have 2 on the east facing windows.

Do you have roller shutters? Where did you get them? Good or bad service? and my biggest question... manual or electric?

Only go electric if you have to. There is a maximum size that a manual one will go.

*also you only need external shading devices not roller shutters ;)

Given your lovely neighbours shutters isn't such a bad idea as well....

oh no, didn't I tell you about that?! The bastard topped himself.

I could've killed him, for all the grief that prick caused me.

I don't like electric things. They break, I didn't even want electric windows in my car but it seems one has no choice these days.
