days must have sand in his vagina given the hawks got smashed tonight, the scoreboard flattered them a lot.

it is a professional sport. would you ever leave your job if someone gave you a huge pay rise and job security for the rest of your career, even though you liked the guys you worked with?

of course you would. just move with the times guys.

I understand that benny and you're right, I just think it's bullshit for him to say that. The Hawthorn players must of been dirty he left the way he did and saying that would rub salt into the wound after losing to his new side.

So he can't say that Gibson is one of his best mates anymore even if he is?

As a neutral I don't see anything wrong with what he said after the game.

The trouble these days and its across the whole AFL is the passion for the club and its players only comes from the supporters, they players themselves don't give a hoot. Thats what really 5hits me.
The Hawks players should be absolutely filthy that Buddy requested his manager get him to the Swans just days after the Swans beat us in a Granny.
The whole AFL is very plastic, give me the SANFL anyday (minus B grade sides)

tbh i have to agree with what you have just said days. I wouldnt say they all dont give a stuff, but money talks. But if im relating it to my job, if someone gave me a pay rise to go somewhere else i would be out of there in 5 seconds flat, even though i like who i work with.

Im sure if it was only a small payrise he would have stayed put, but he was basically offered the best deal in the history of the game. pretty impossible to pass that up.

Stop following it then. One less Hawthorn supporter can only be a good thing. No one is forcing you to barrack for the best team of the past three seasons.

Lobbe OUT for todays game, Renouf in. Throws the cat amongst the pigeons now.

I've gone from thinking we are solid favourites to now underdogs.

A lot of people forgetting that the loyalty works both ways .. Plenty of players get cut or axed by clubs they love but there's **** all sympathy for them
