You have no idea how the quality of the content improved while you've been off line and it also proves you are one dumb f#ck if you believe that Brad is Tex. You are a complete tool !!!

"You have no idea how the quality of the content improved while you've been off line" So I can't read? I've read everything since I left and it's much of the same.

"you are one dumb f#ck if you believe that Brad is Tex. You are a complete tool !!!" Clutching at straws.

Cannot provide a whole team but let you know what I can:
A good mix of Country and Central
Capt D King Lobey
V Capt A Stephens Hanhdorf
Devils:
L Chapman, Artis, Baldock, Pencil Temme, Cutting
Tex David McEvoy from Meadows made it
P James from Kersbrook I think
Wood from Blackwood and a couple others
A monster in a Gumeracha top was out, I don't know his name so do not know if he made it.
Forgot the others.
Perhaps Owen/Sherrin could post the full list?

association has nothing to do with where the players live. its the best of the hills league, not the best of the people that live in the hills.

also DA, cheating here a bit mate (cant be fu2ked going to hotmail) hows the trip brother. got a job yet?? ya bum!

I will see you at Lobey on Saturday. 8) Perhaps ArmyTank was in the shadows, or hiding in that big dudes jumper.

I like the new Association Jumper Gold with Black bolts, I would say Birdwood will not want to give them back when they use them against Lofty. :P

Well I sem to be having problems moving............ I am sure I have done this before?

Thanks guys for your support!

THE GAME……For what it is worth!

Apologies to Pistols who I am sure will do this justice. 8)

Worried at the start of the game, when you see the opposition are taller and take up more real estate in a group than your guys. :?
No matter………… That is usual for IB over the last two years. :)
We get the first goal then BL&G start to move to another gear they take over in the middle and pepper their two forwards, who try to learn the intricacies of Lobey they are very wayward allowing Hills into the game early (Thomas 4.8 at half time).
Well without L. Chapman (Lofty) we were gone, kicked 3 or 4 first quarter with help from Thunderer, Gaz Williams to get to 5.1 at quarter time compared to 5.9 for BL&G. My best for that quarter for Hills were Chapman and Alf Stephens who was playing in an unfamiliar role at full back against an obvious gun small forward.

Second quarter showed the BL&G team had better and bigger people around the ball and perhaps, the Hills decision to go with so many receivers was folly.
Well not really, they were better in all positions. Half time 7.3 to 11.17.
BL&G still cannot kick straight.
Issues for the Hills were around height and having enough in and under’s to get the ball out to these receivers.
Best second quarter Pencil tried hard, Gaz Williams and D. King.

We had three players over 6.3 and it showed, particularly when in the third quarter we played 19 yr old W. Muirden at CHF.
Our lack of height and marking ability may have been masked previously but not this year.
Our second ruckman from Lobey Dan GillFillan really did well from here and was asked as well as Temme to fill in as a key forward as well.
We were smashed in the third our best GillFillian, Williams and Kerber from Onkas.

Three quarter time 10.4 to BL&G 22.21.

Last quarter coach Page changed the team drastically and asked for some pride.
Alfy who I thought had been our best in the back line till then was moved onto the ball and showed his class and won that quarter in the middle, Paul James although tired did well and Michael Artis moved to the back line showed what he was capable of.
Now I need to be careful with my description as not all the numbers match up to the budget, I am told, but only Cutting was a no show from Lofty (GTS).

Final score 28.22 11.(6) something

Some comments:

Umpiring in the two games I watched was very good.
The BL&G umpires do not seem to be on to the “Hands in the Back” rule as we have suffered this season.
Pencil spat the dummy at one stage, with the coaching panel.
Our best was given to Ledge King, I thought Alfy did better and Gaz as third.
Comments from the spectators was more around having another half dozen footballers would have been good. I think that means if you are going to fill players at least put in some “In and Unders” rather than “Receivers”
Of the teams I have seen this year and being fiercely local I think a few gutsy players from Uraidla and Onkas would have helped. PS Good to see young McAvoy show what he can do as well
Scores: Chapman 4, Williams 3
