Must say how disgusted i was at watching number 19 from Woodville South give two king hits to the Elizabeth full foward , it was the most cowardly act i have ever seen on a football oval. congratulations to the Eliz players who had eyes for the ball all day even though intimidation was the main thing on Woodville South players minds .
This guy needs to be removed permanently from playing anywhere .

Id rather Kenilworth win. Woody South would be one of my least favourite clubs in the SAAFL.

Carn Woody South! No-one south of Cross Road likes Kenilworth.

haha, nah, I have a lot of time for the Kookas, great footy club but they're our neighbours so there is a natural rivalry there.

I would like to see Kenilworth win and probably should go in as the favourites after easily taking care of WS in the 2nd Semi.

I agree there is no place in our game for such inane acts....Many clubs would have such skeletons in their closets....so would your indignation over this unacceptable on-field behaviour also apply to transgressors for Elizabeth i.e. Week14......for their permanent removal from the game?

I saw the knock and it was blatent and cowardly. Almost as if "well I'm not a good enough fullback to beat you so I'll crack you!" I think the penalty needs to be a season! It will certainly make the player wish he had his time again. I had to miss 10 games a while back and it cost me a spot in a finals side. certainly made me miss the game and regret my actions.

It was noted D....my remarks made no reference to her being an Elizabeth supporter.......more that Eagles were on the receiving end of some unacceptable behaviour albeit they are not in the position to be "casting the first stone"...

Sorry, I'm having trouble understanding your post. In your original post, are you asking her to comment and form an opinion on something she did not see? What exactly are you hoping for from the question you've posed?

You'll also note that no one from Elizabeth is casting stones on this thread, nor asking for life time suspensions, regarding the incident. Hopefully anyone who posts here from the club will let official channels take care of themselves.

If it was the other way around, Im sure the SAAFL would have a very serious conversation with Elizabeth, so I'd hope they'd have a good chat with Woody South. Already been on the news once this year for the wrong reasons.

I agree HH3, but at the end of the day...if a player is having his jaw re-wired...that needs to be more than a chat

I stand to be corrected D if I am not reading her post correctly... "I (she) was disgusted watching number 19 from Woody South give two king hits to the Elizabeth forward"...........so I assumed she was offering an opinion. In her response she remarked on the fact the Elizabeth players only had eyes for the ball and were playing football. My comment was made that whilst her empathy is warranted on this occasion that maybe a Club's past can sometimes catch up them....IMO......

Could you point out where I said anyone from "Elizabeth" cast the first stone? or said anything from anything........

Sorry Cohiba - uncalled for I think

Clearly a wrong has been done against them (and it must've been bad if the Haven boys are sticking up for them  )

But whatever was dealt to them earlier in the year, doesn't proclude them from trying to obtain justice now.

Once again, I'm calling the tribunal rule.

This means no finer details to be discussed on here please until an outcome is achieved.

Not sure if Donners still reads up here but all the best for a speedy recovery mate ;)

And there it is, "with their record, they deserved it".
Why wouldn't you have just said that instead of trying to pin a neutral observer into saying what you wanted to?

As I said, I'm having trouble understanding exactly what you're trying to say in your previous posts.
However, the quote below would suggest that you are saying EFC supporters shouldn't cast the first stone:

Cohiba wrote:...more that Eagles were on the receiving end of some unacceptable behaviour albeit they are not in the position to be "casting the first stone"...

That could be where you said "anything from anything", whatever that means.

My point about Us casting the first stone, was to point out that the majority of people posting about the disgracefulness of the act were not EFC supporters, but opposition observers. The only responses (apart from mine trying to understand what you're saying) that came from an EFC person provided details of the injury to Donners. No stones being cast about the act, just comment on the injury.
Let the SAAFL channels sort it out.

You got to love this page, Anyone actually talk about the games played?

Great day down at Muzz Buzz Oval on saturday , The B grade was a great game where Woodville South took control early and Elizabeth nearly snatched it at the death, everyone shook hands after the game. Best wishes to Elizabeth B grade next year not a bad bunch of guys to play against. In the As Glenunga took it up to The cats and had a lot of supporters worried going in to 3rd quarter time but the cats were to good in the end. Both games were great to watch and i'm sure this week there will be 2 great games played , Good luck to all players, officials and all clubs involved in grand finals this week.
