Very frustrating to watch! Jekyll and Hyde. I think if the tigers can get on a run they are a slight chance. Looking like tanunda are going to forward, not sure on the bombers. Beaten lower teams (similar to south). The only teams that deserve to be there at this point in the season are centrals and barossa.

South to bounce back tomorrow and beat Tanunda by 6 goals. Duncan back from injury will be a handy inclusion. 5 teams in the race for third & fourth spot, place your bets please.

Great call Nostradamus
Excellant 6 goal win over the Blockies today.
Looked like Tanunda by how far in the first but South hammered them after 1/4 Time.
11 goals to 3 after the first break
Right back in the mix now

Gawler Central by 2points over the Donnies.
Woeful conditions.
massive dummy spit by the Donnies ruckman #1 in the 2nd qtr - caught holding the ball or a throw, spits it at the ump, 2 x 50m's later Centrals have a shot on goal, then goes and sits down in the goal square like an under 9. funny stuff.

Kapunda got the job done today over Freeling by 3 goals
Legs jumped out of the blocks in the first quarter before we held them goal less for the next 2 quarters.
Think its down to 4 for the last 2 spots, Nuris bye plus their poor percentage means they are too far back.
Massive few weeks coming up, knock off Central this week and we could be in the 4 this time next week

Big task there against Central, Rocket. Would be a mighty job to get over them.

At home and hear the injuries are starting to take their toll at the Dog Track.
Will be tough but they are the games you need to win if you want to play finals

How has Sam Brown gone this year at Kapunda? Was told he was the best fullback in Div4 last season so just wondering how he has played.

Looks like this years finals series might be a bit of a fizzer crowd wise.

Looks like Centrals, South, Willaston and Barossa in A's

Centrals, South, Barossa and Freeling in the B's

Centrals, South, Willaston, Freeling in 17's

Barossa, Angaston, Willaston and Centrals/Nuri in 14's

Those in Bold are likely grand finalists, only 4 clubs represented, none of them with many supporters, coupled with the G/F at Centrals will see the poorest turn out in a long long time.
Hope its not wet as well, hows that "grandstand" coming along?

Well maybe you can tell the last time Centrals won a prelim, i'm not old enough to remember. ;)
To play in the G.F they will have to get past that hurdle as they won't get near Barossa in the 2nd semi (neither will anyone else for that matter)

And the worst possible result would be Central v South in the top 3 grades, wont be much more than a good home game crowd for that one and if that does happen i for one cant wait

Where are you getting these supporter statistics from? I think you will find a lot come out of the woodwork come finals; past players, family members friends etc. and Gawler is a big - yet closely linked country town. Numbers will not be a problem - making the grand final however...

On what basis do you think they will just magically appear, there hasnt been an all Gawler G/F for at least 20 years?
I am basing that on the fact the Gawler clubs have the lowest supporter base to their home games and that IF it were to be the same 3 clubs in the top 3 grades it would be a disaster as not many from the rest of the league will attend.
Stats will show that the best attended G/F's are the ones with the most amount of different clubs playing on the day

Must say that while Central can be a bit lean on supporters, (partly due its stone age brat pack that abuses the umps every week) South and Barossa have a pretty solid fan base. I don't think the crowd will be an issue.

He is on some good stuff.
Why all the love for South?
Will get a touchup by Willaston tomorrow and then play us which is 50/50 before heading to Angaston which is no certainty up there.
I still think they will miss finals, Donnies and us to hopefully round out the top 4

Hows that prediction going RR?
Who's on the good stuff?
Even Angaston beat Freeling by 13 goals, a team you scraped in by a couple last week.
Kapunda are a long way off the top 5

Agree with Days on the Gawler crowds but Days don't forget that Barossa always attracts a decent crowd and at the end of the day the Gawler clubs will be contesting the finals and they deserve to be there whether they attract decent crowd or not. I'm all for Centrals hosting the final, all finals including the GF should be shared around equally. I know there are some limitations at some grounds but how do we expect clubs to upgrade facilities if they don't get the money that the finals bring in.
