Im sure it will be ok for them to play reserves for the bottom team in reserves and this won't hinder their development.
What a well thought out proposal, as i said earlier i reckon they came up with this in their 2 hour meeting yesterday morning

@Adelaide_FC Trigg says committed to working with SANFL to ensure live free to air coverage of league's game of day.

Because if you believe what the Adevertiser says all the SANFL clubs are on board except Norwood. Its funny you saying that though i just read a commment on Adelaide now that suggested that Norwood should leave the SANFL and go and play in the SAAFL. Personally this is what i would like to see happen in the event that the crows and power get their reserves sides. I can handle Norwood playing at a lesser level because my needs are only that Norwood exist in their own right and play in a meaningful competition. don't really give a **** abou the standard of play to be honest.
Agreed.
I'd rather we had half the salary cap but still played in a competition with integrity.

although i like the sentiment, the reality is that sanfl has had little integrity for many years now. It was initially compromised in 1991, and then even further in 1997.
it’s a competition where some players that are owned by an afl club, get to play for a sanfl club to which they have no connection (other than being selected in a ‘mini-draft’).
it’s a competition where some sanfl clubs, purely by chance that their best juniors get drafted to a SA based team, get to have continued access to their players, while others drafted by interstate teams lose them at 18/19.
it's a competition where some, not all, of theses sanfl clubs get to keep these afl listed players in finals, while others don’t, often depending on the whim of the afl club (which by the way, is totally understandable since they are contracted to the afl club).
it’s a competition where teams don’t play each other the same number of times, and the vagrancies of the draw can directly impact on whether you make finals.
where's the integrity?
